Finding the Best Price for Your Old Cell Phone

Hey there.  What are your experiences with recycling your cell phones?  I've heard of the service before and even some big name chains are beginning to offer recycling service but I don't think I know anyone that has actually done.   Friends and family usually just hand down their cell phones to family. A cousin of mine makes a living selling cell phones and I'm not sure that he recycles them. Well, I decided to look into it, since I have a few old cell phones that are collecting dust in my closet.  The best that you can hope for is getting money back for your old phone.  Especially since they can be so expensive.

After browsing around, I came across SellCell.com.  A place where you can sell phones and receive competitive cash for old phones.  It's great because you'll definitely get something back as opposed to just dropping it in some box to recycle.  And a great perk is that it searches the top web sites that recycle phones and will post their deals.  It will tell you how much you'll get back, what payment method is available, and whether or not you can ship them the phone for free.  Pretty awesome, no?  I was thinking of getting an upgrade for my phone soon, the Blackberry Curve 8530, and wanted to see how much I could get for it.  Check out the results:
Top deal will score me $22, with free shipping, and I can get paid via Paypal.  Not too bad.  I have at least 3 cell phones at home that I need to get rid of.  I'm not so sure of the make and model of the phones but I'll definitely check it out and see what I get for them.  I think it's better to get a few bucks out of them to give them away to a recycling bin.  If anything, it's definitely worth a look.  Later!
