Metallman's Reverie Has a New Look

Hey there.  Notice anything different?  No!  I didn't get new glasses!  It's my blog design!  You like?  My good friend at The Amazon Addiction made it for me.  I was in dire need of a new look and though I'm a fan of black and white, the site just needed an overhaul... and it needed it badly.  So now I have buttons, share buttons, some color, and nice scheme that works well for me.  I'm pretty damn happy with it.  I may be tech savvy and what not, but I just don't have much of the know how to mess around with the html code and get something like this done.  I feel that if I tried and spent the time on it, I would be able to do it... but I can't even find the time to play Modern Warfare 3, let alone screw around with some html code.  lol

I looked around to see what I could find before my friend jumped in and provided their services.  I mean, I know it's not tough, but to come up with a template and then design a logo definitely takes time.  I can see why some people would go to a place like Logo Arena to have professionals enter into a logo design contest just to get a well made logo.  Good thing I'm a guy of simplicity.  I don't need many bells and whistles and I guess that's the reason why my original blog template was sop blah.  I need to step it up, I need to have a more professional look, and I needed to showcase my work on a more presentable level.  I'm sure that a blog will go through many changes in it's layout and it's design, but I think mine has found a permanent home.

So what kind of growing pains have you had with your blogs?  How many design changes before you have decided that you are done messing with it?  Or do you feel that a blog needs a face lift every so often?  I'm curious to see how you guys feel about it.  I'm more than content with what I have and I'd love to know if you are as well.  Later!

  1. I always have to change mine up. I get bored with it and then need something new. But I think I'm going to go back to something more basic.

Thanks for the shout out. =)

Your giveaway has brought in almost 60 new people to my facebook! Its definitely a win-win situation. Not sure how many to twitter, not as many as Facebook but that's fine. Now if only they stick around. ;)
