Kat Dennings and 2 Broke Girls

This, my friends, is Kat Dennings
Hey there. Who is this Kat Dennings character? I recently started watching the TV show 2 Broke Girls with the wife and she seems to be fascinated by Kat Dennings.  When word got out that she was to be in a new sitcom, the wife was intrigued and needed to watch it. Me, finding ways to spend more time with my wife, decided that it would be a good idea to watch it with her. I know Kat Dennings from the film Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist and that was pretty much it. Until recently, I haven't given much thought to her. But now that I'm watching 2 Broke Girls on NBC, I find myself intrigued by her and the show.

The Office

Thanks to Danny Mays

The Office has been running for many years now. At first I was not a fan of the show because I didn’t really understand the dry humor and the way that the actors look directly at the camera to make a point was a little unnerving to watch at first. Now I am hooked on the show. I set a series recording on my new Direct.tv DVR so I can get and watch every episode without commercials! Yay! No commercials ever again! So anyway back to The Office. My favorite people on the show are Jim and Pam. They had a little office romance going for quite a while before they actually decided to start dating. Back in those days Pam was dating some guy from the warehouse but Jim would still flirt with her all day long to try to win her over. Finally they decided to get married so they went up to Niagra falls to have a small family wedding but of course the whole crew from their office had to show up to crash the party.

P&G Family Movie Night Presents: Game of Your Life

Hey there.  Our good friends at Walmart and P&G have another great film on the horizon!  Game of Your Life is set to air on Friday, December 2nd on NBC at 8pm ET/7pm CT.  If you guys are not familiar with these films, they are family films that you can sit and watch with the family that primarily focus on tough subject matters that kids should know about.  They are films of morals, loyalty, family, drugs, and the like, that can open the door for parents to talk with their kids about these tough subject matters.  These talks can no longer be awkward when the film has already nudged the conversation to start.  This week's film is no different.

Family Movie Night! Game Time: Tackling the Past on NBC September 3rd

Hey there.  Here's another game winning movie to enjoy with your family courtesy of P&G!  Game Time: Tackling the Past is a great film to sit down and watch with your family and have that discussion with your kids that winning isn't everything.  We all grow up to be the best that we can but sometimes we all lose focus on the real meaning behind that phrase.  It doesn't mean that if you don't win, you're a loser.  It simply means that as long as you give it your all, you should be satisfied with your results.  If you feel as if you can do better next time, then go for it!!!  But what if you take that phrase and take it to heart.  What if winning is everything to you and you can't accept defeat?  What's left for you if winning is out of the equation?  These are some of the great questions that arise in Game Time: Tackling the Past.

Family Movie Night: Who is Simon Miller? on NBC August 6th

Hey there.  I love Family Movie Night on NBC.  Not only the movies kid friendly, but they offer the opportunity to watch a film with a strong, moral life lesson that you can elaborate on with the kids once the movie is over.  It makes that "talk" with the kids much more easier since the movie provides a common point of reference.  This week's film is Who is Simon Miller?

P&G Family Movie Night! Field of Vision on NBC This Saturday, June 11

Hey there.  One the best things that you can do is sit and watch a movie with your family.  I've done it many times.  Where it be a feel good, heart warming movie or a history based flick.  It's a great way to start up a conversation with your kids and take in their thoughts on the situations in the film.  Don't pass up the next opportunity to talk to your kids.  P&G Family movie night is this Saturday, June 11th on NBC at 8pmET/7pmCT!  The film is Field of Vision and I've been fortunate enough to get a sneak peak!  Trust me, it's one that you definitely want to watch and discuss with your kids, especially since it confronts the problem of bullying.  There's been enough press on bullying that this movie is premiering at the right time to make an impact on our youth.
