RedSun MegaMan Design
The Blue Bomber never looked so good in black!
Hey there.  I love me some MegaMan.  He's one of my favorite all time Nintendo characters.  So you can only imagine just how much I LOVE the above design!  That is simply bad ass!  I love the style, I love the colors, I love EVERYTHING about it.  I stole the design and it's now my phone's wallpaper.  But that's not all the design is on... you can pick up the design on a T shirt!  Our friends over at PopUpTee.com are having a flash sale going on right now.  If you are not sure how flash sales work... let me sum it up for you.  Something's on sale for a short period of time before you can't buy it anymore until who knows when.  Yup... you're on a timer, friend.  So I say act fast!  The above design is called the RedSun Mega design and it's available from now until August 22 and it's only $12.99

The Return of Mega Man

It hurts to see you this way, Mega Man.
Hey there.  See that above comic strip?  That comic strip hit home when I first saw it.  I damn near teared up.  For those of you that do not get the reference, that's Mario in the limo calling Masahiro Sukarai, the designer of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, to ask for a favor to help out an old friend.  It's one touching comic.  Subtle, yet powerful.  Also, it's very appropriate.  Mega Man was one of those NES titles that helped launch Nintendo into the video game world.  I've played all of the the Mega Man games on the early Nintendo platforms.  They were awesome, they were engaging, and most of all, they I felt a sense of pride when completing the games.  For whatever reason, Capcom and Mega Man parted ways with Nintendo and I strongly believe that was a huge mistake on Capcom's part.  Mega Man had games, such as Mega Man Legends, but they weren't the same.  Soon, before you knew it... the Blue Bomber was forgotten.  Left on the way side.  That is... until now.

What I'm Playing... Mutant Mudds

Hey there.  You know, I love playing on the Nintendo 3DS.  It's an extremely convenient way to get my gaming on when I'm on the go or when I don't have too much time on my hands.  But you know what the absolute best part about it?  Some of the games made for the 3DS are short, challenging, and fun.  And that is where Mutant Mudds falls in.  Our good friends at Nintendo were kind enough to provide a copy of the game to me to check out.  Like with Mighty Switch Force, Mutant Mudds is simple to pick up and play but offers a unique challenge as well as a moderately high replay value.  So let's get to it!  Let's take a look at the game, Mutant Mudds.

Nintendo: The Gift of Gaming

Real life picture of me at age 5
Hey there.  Quick!  Think back at your most fondest, earliest gaming memory!  For those in my generation (I'm 30, by the way), the answer is going to be playing Atari or Nintendo at home.  Atari may have been in homes before Nintendo and I remember playing them both, but the fondest memories come from playing Nintendo.  I remember my cousin getting his before I did and I remember sneaking over to his place to play. We lived in an apartment building and his apartment was right below mine.  We would play into the wee hours of the night.  Whether it was Super Mario Bros., Contra, Bubble Bobble (which I've introduced to the kids on the Wii) or The Legend of Kage we simply could not get enough, but my most fondest memory in my gaming history has to be when my Dad handed me my Nintendo.
