July Fitness Challenge and 30 Day Exercise Challenge

A little Instagram Fun
Hey there.  I have been gone for the past week or so.  I took some much needed time off from work (both my day job and my online job) and now I feel refreshed and ready to go!  But during that time off, I decided that it's time to get back into shape.  I took on The Hero Rush and The Gladiator Rock'n Run last year and I felt like I wouldn't be able to complete those challenging obstacle courses today.  That's why, I took on the July Fitness Challenge that my wife started doing.  First off, the July Fitness Challenge is more of an Instagram thing (Follow me here).  You take a picture everyday about the topic at hand.  The thing with this one, though, is that most of it is fitness related so it pushes you to work out.  I thought it was an easy enough challenge to get back on track.  But then, the wife and I also decided to do a separate fitness challenge on the side.  You do a set of exercises every day for the month.  Check out the 30 Day challenge below:
Yeah, it starts off pretty easy but man are those squats and lunges killer!  Anyways, I've been sitting on my ass for far too long so I had to get up off my butt and work out.  My wife has been on her game for quite some time now.  Though she looks great, she aspires for a fit body like those of a fitness trainer and she is training hard for it.  The least I can do is get to the gym and work out with her to encourage her and better myself.  Besides, it's great to be able to spend a little extra time with her while working out.  For the time being, I'm doing the workouts she's doing.  I feel so out of shape that I feel like I cannot push myself to do any more than her training.  After the month is over, I hope to be able to push myself to new limits.
July before pic.  Not in very good shape but as the wife would say... round is a shape.  lol
So I'm training hard, I'm taking my Optimum Nutrition protein and vitamins. If you plan on working out, I strongly suggest you check out the Optimum Nutrition store on Amazon.  They definitely have the best stuff for your fitness needs at great low prices.  I've been using ON products more so now and I'm working on building that endurance and increasing those gains!  Before I go, I wanted to leave a before picture.  This was taken on the first or second of the month.  Come August, I'll post an "after" photo and compare the two.  I may or may not show much of a difference, but I can tell you that I feel pretty damn good either way.  Do you guys have any fitness goals that you are chasing?  Later!
