Friends: The Complete Series Blu Ray Boxed Set Winner

Hey there.  Recently, I haven't received many pictures from my winners so I haven't had a winners post in quite some time.  Good thing that the winner of the Friends: The Complete Series on Blu Ray came through with a picture!  Check out this awesome pic!!!
Here are a few words from the winner, John C!

I sincerely appreciate your site's POV and I really do hit it almost everyday...and NOT just to enter your giveaways! Ha! But it's a nice bonus. I have your podcasts saved to my desktop and I will be sure and post feedback once I have had a chance to listen to them a couple of times. I am one of those people that throws a ton of podcasts on my desktop and listens to them all day long... and a couple of gaming and movie podcasts are among the many I regularly download. So you are good company. I wish you well over the holiday season!

Thank you John! I greatly appreciate the picture and kind words.  Especially since the picture has some of my favorite stuffs in it! I see Dwight from The Office, The Hulk, Shaggy, and a good ol' thumbs up! Later!

August Photo a Day - Sibling

Hey there.  You see that guy up there?  Yup, that's my brother.  He posted this pic on Instagram not too long ago and I thought it was hilarious.  Not so much the pose or any thing like that.  It's the fact that we were at the same place, The Downey Brewery, earlier that week my brother was irked that he wasn't invited.  lol  So in retaliation, he sent this pic to show my friends and I, "how he does it."  lol  Yeah, we're awesome like that.  The last time my brother and I were both at The Downey Brewery at the same time, we each had about 6 boots (28 ounces of beer per boot!) and the wife had banned me from setting foot at the Brewery again.  lol  Yeah, that happened.

Anyways, it's always a fun time when I'm hanging with my bro so here's a little shout out to the only sibling I have, my lil brother.  *Cheers*  Later!

Help Patients Across the US by Becoming a Traveling Nurse

Hey there. You know, I used to make fun of a friend of mine for wanting to become a nurse. It may not sound like a big deal, but he's a guy wanting to become a nurse and I had the mentality that females should be nurses. I know, I know. I'm horrible.  I was young and ignorant.  After meeting up with him after several years, he opened up to me about why he wanted to become a nurse.  He felt that it was his calling after seeing a nurse take such great care of a loved one.  It's a great story and it made me realize how much nurses are needed.  The doctors may get all the glory but the nurses are the ones doing the ins and outs of taking care of a patient.  That's why I suggested he become one of those traveling nurses.  Not familiar with the term?  Let me explain.
