Hey there. It's been almost a year since I showed you the good stuff that comes in The Otaku Box! Life happened and I haven't had a chance to get back on track, but fear not, friends! I am back! And you know... I sure do love me anime stuff! I've always been a fan and I'm just so glad that I'm able to get a box of otaku goodies each month. This month's goodies include items from awesome anime such as: Akashic Records of a Bastard Magic Instructor, High School DxD, Demon Slayer, and Black Clover. So let's dig into The Otaku Box - December 2021 Edition and get a closer look at what's inside.

High School DxD - Sexy Rias Figure

The slightly bashful look really makes Rias just that much more desirable

 

Rias Gremory is definitely a fan favorite and, because the fans get to vote as to what items they would like to see in The Otaku Box, she comes up quite often. This time, we get a sexy Rias (but really... when isn't she sexy?) This 1/12 exclusive collectible figure resembles the High School DxD season 4 anime art style and it's a welcomed change. The figure is well crafted, Rias has a better proportioned body (I've never been a fan of the overexaggerated look), and those wings really bring the whole look together. Rias really pulls off the pink and gold look extremely well and the slight blush on her face really brings the whole look together. A great addition to the collection!

Black Clover - Vanessa Enoteca Banner

Nothing beats a bad ass witch that can drink!

My favorite part of The Otaku Box is the fan art. I just love seeing the vision of anime characters through an artists eyes and this month we get Black Clover's best witch, Vanessa Enoteca! The colors in this piece pop and the details are simply awesome. Within the background of this piece are incantations and there's more vital to a witch than her spells. The only thing that this piece needs is an alcoholic drink cause you know my girl Vanessa here loves to drink!

The Otaku Box - 2022 Calendar

All of the winning art work in a nifty calendar

Practical items! I love them! Not only do I love to display my love for anime, but I love it even more when it can be incorporated into my everyday items! A calendar is perfect for this. I use several calendars to keep tabs of my appointments and important dates. I have one at work... one at home... another on my phone. lol What can I say? I need calendars! And the fact that it displays all of the winning artwork from the previous year makes it even better.

The Otaku Box - Card Binder

Just what I needed to keep all of The Otaku Box wiafu cards safe!

I needed one of these!!! I was just about to search for binder to keep all of my waifu cards in when The Otaku Box comes through and provides a binder this month! As an added bonus, Liz herself adorns the binder. How fitting... Liz provides the goods and she also keeps them safe. Nice!

Akashic Records of a Bastard Magic Instructor - Ear Warmers

Definitely need one of these when you step out in 30 degree weather

Dude... I haven't seen Akashic Records in like forever so I am so glad to see the series make an appearance in this month's box! Ear warmers can be quite fashionable so it's pretty cool that this set of ear warmers has the magic circle logo on one end. Again, practical items are always welcomed!

Demon Slayer- Mitsuri Kanroji Button

Mitsuri!!!

Demon Slayer is hot right now. There are a lot of eyes on Tanjiro and the gang as they slay demons but don't overlook Mitsuri! The love pillar has yet to have her time to shine in the anime and once she does, I'm sure many will fall in the love with her. Until then, her bubbly personality comes through in pretty much anything that she's in, including this lovely button.

Waifu Collection Card - Mikasa Ackerman (Bonus Item)

They don't get more bad ass than Mikasa!

Attack on Titan is in part 2 of the final season and what better way to get ready for the end of the story than with top tier waifu Mikasa. Is her loyalty to Eren based on her true feelings?
