Stair Climb for Los Angeles Sept. 19th, 2014

Let's Rise Together
Hey there.  I've fallen a bit off the fitness wagon these past couple of months.  I haven't been able to work out as much as I would like and I haven't been able to participate in anything fitness related becase I've been working on some DIT yourself home projects.  But now, it's time to get back on that train!  And what better way to get started than with the Stair Climb for Los Angeles!

What's the Stair Climb for Los Angeles?  Well, it's a charity event where stair climbers will stair climb up the tallest building west of the Mississippi, the US Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles.  The building boasts 74 flights of stairs.  That's over 1,600 steps and over 1,000 feet above ground!  All in the name of charity.  The stair climb is set up to raise funds for the Ketchum-Downtown Los Angeles YMCA and each participant pledges to help raise money through donations and fundraising.  It's a great way to help bring in much needed money to the local YMCA.

I'm signed up.  I'm ready to start my training.  If you wish to join me, you can register here.  And if you don't plan on registering but would like to help the cause, you can donate here.  You can donate however much you want.  Anywhere from $0.01 to a kajillion dollars.  Thanks for the support, friends.  Later!
