NorthONE Digital Tire Pressure Gauge Review

Hey there.  I recently moved to Lancaster, CA and I wasn't as well prepared as I thought I would be.  Especially when it came to car maintenance.  I knew that the weather would get colder than what I was used to, but I didn't think that it would get to freezing temperatures!  Because of the cold weather, my car tires were constricting, causing them to lose tire pressure over time, and I wouldn't find out until it was too late.  On more than one occasion, my wife and I found ourselves waking up to a flat tire.  After those incidents, I mentioned to my wife how we're going to have to keep an eye on the pressure on the tires to make sure that they stay properly inflated.  Even though I have a standard metal tire pressure gauge, my wife insisted on something that is easier to use and read.  Something that she would have no problem using.  That's where our friends at NorthONE saved the day.  The NorthONE Digital Tire Pressure Gauge came to the rescue.  This thing has everything that I am looking for in an easy to use, easy to read tire pressure gauge.

Undo What Life Did to Your Car with Armor All

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Armor All for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
ArmorAllnonsampleBlogCopy.docHey there.  I'm one of those guys that find it a huge chore to detail your car.  The scrubbing, the cleaning, the vacuuming... it's just a huge pain, right?  Especially for a guy like me that can go several weeks before I give my vehicle a good scrub down.  Those weeks of people getting in and out of the van, hands touching everything, and the blazing sun hitting the dashboard can really do a number to the interior.  Life happens and sometimes it takes its toll on your vehicle.  But you know what?  Your vehicle is an extension of who you are so if you want to keep it nice and clean.  You want to rejuvenate your car's look so that it doesn't look worn out.  While most of the cleaning and detailing takes a while, I can always count on Armor All to make things just a little easier.

A Friend in Chicago Needing Car Care

Hey there.  I have a friend that lives over in Chicago and all I hear is that the weather can be brutal.  If it's not the wind, it's a tornado.  If it's not a tornado, it's snow.  Right now, it being winter, she's had a tough time finding a spot to get snow tires installed on her Honda.  So I jumped online to see if I could help her find a Honda dealer in Chicago that would be able to help her out.

So once I find one that specializes in Honda Accords, I check to see if they have service and maintenance at an affordable price.  When driving in the middle of a blizzard, you want to make sure that you have the proper tires on your car.  Just check out this pic that was just sent today.
Yeah...  I'd say you'd need to make sure you have the right kind of tires to be driving in those conditions.  Considering that there's a special going on right now, she's going to take it and take advantage of the Winterization special.  Best of luck friend.  Me, being from sunny California, wouldn't know how to deal with conditions such as those.  Later!

Schedule Those Car Check Ups

Hey there.  You know, a friend of mine was recently in Azirona and he found himself needing his 2001 Ford Escort checked out.  Turns out that his water pump needed to be replaced.  Now, I usually do my own car maintenance.  Well, what I consider the small stuff at least.  This guy just doesn't bother with it.  As soon as he "feels" it's time for a check up, he'll get it done sooner or later...  and it's usually later. Luckily for him, he found a Phoenix auto repair shop using his phone.

I like to think that I'm pretty handy when it comes to that.  I've been able to check and change all the common maintenance issues, such as motor oil, transmission fluid, radiator coolant, and the serpentine belts.  Recently, I've been showing my boy how to check it out himself so that he can have the know how to get it done himself.  But the two things that I have not been able to take care of have been the timing belt and the water pump. Unlike my friend, I get those checked every year to avoid such things as being stranded in the desert.

So take this as a public service announcement, make sure to get the car checked up on some sort of schedule.  Especially if you're living in high temperature places.  Cars overheat, tires wear down, water pumps burst, and belts snap.  We rely on our cars more than we should!  Avoid spending a fortune on emergency repairs when you can get those checked out and repair or replace those important parts BEFORE some serious damage takes place.  Later!
