Updating Blog Stats

Hey there.  Today, I am updating my blog stats on my Press Kit Page.  I haven't been able to squeeze out the time the past several months to keep up with my blog posts and let me tell you... my blog stats have suffered because of it.  Even though I do have a small following (thanks guys!) you need to keep those readers happy with content.  When the content is simply not there, you can't expect the readers to swing by for a visit.  I've always known this but it's hitting home more so now than ever.  At one point, my Alexa Rank was well under 200,000 (it's sitting at a 1,400,000+ at this moment) and I was getting over 10,000 page views a month (struggling to get 2,500 a month at this moment).  I'm not too happy with those numbers.  I know I can improve on them.

Time to Update my Technorati Profile

Hey there.  Technorati...  here's your claim code: MKUS9AU7PYTY.  This will be a quick post.  It's pretty much to verify my account with Technorati.  I've noticed that my blog stats have slowly dwindled the past couple of weeks and I'm a little baffled as to why.  My Alexa Ranking has significantly lowered even though I show visitors staying longer on my page.  Anyways, I've decided to visit some of the blog directories that I used to be a part of and update the information.  I figured that it can't hurt to make sure my information is up to date.

Alexa Ranking

Hey there friends. Checked my Alexa ranking and I'm glad it jumped some 400,000 points! Ha ha ha I know that my ranking still sucks compared to others, but I'm just glad that it's improving. Last month, it was 3,225,130... 2 weeks ago it was 1,711,831... and today, it's 1,308,414. Whoo hoo! I only need 1,308,413 points to gain to be #1!!!!
