Where I go to college, something's going around that, according to my mother, who is a nurse, a possible precursor to meningitis and I was just wondering what exactly I would have to go through.

I wish her the best for her recovery. I have a cousin that battled meningitis when she was a child. Doctors told her back then (it was over 25 years ago) that her life would not be the same, never have kids, yada-yada-yada...but they were wrong. She is a very lovely person with a family (four kids of her own) and is a great mom! If they didn't offer therapy for her back then, I think her

I&#39;m so sorry your family has do go through this. Meningitis is a horrible, devastating disease. You are very luck your cousin is doing as well as she is - this make me happy. We lost our 17 year old son to Meningitis within 15 hours of his first sympton.
