THE REVIEW

We're going to keep this review short and sweet, friends. This is an awesome lamp! You pretty much just plug it in and enjoy. The LED light base is powered through a USB cable. Just plug that bad boy to a computer, laptop, power outlet with a USB outlet, or a USB power station. I have a USB power station on my desk where I plug in several USB cables for charging phones, tablets, and what not so I had no problem supplying my LED lamp with power. BUT... if you don't have an easily accessible USB port, you can power the lamp with 3 AA batteries. The light base can be controlled by touch or by the remote control. You simply touch the power symbol on the base to cycle through the colors (about 16 or so colors) and light modes available. However, using the control gives you more options. Using the remote, you can brighten and dim the light, select the flash and speed, and even set up a timer to have your lamp automatically turn off. The control is super easy to use and extremely easy to understand.
Star Wars Acrylic Plates
The acrylic plates are see through but are pretty well made
Now let's talk about the acrylic plates. These things are simply amazing. They are well made and extremely sturdy. You get 4 acrylic plates: Baby Yoda (Grogu), the Mandalorian, the Death Star, and R2-D2. You simply insert the acrylic plate into the slot on the light base and you're good to go! And because the design of how the lamp works, the 3D aspect of it all really shines through. It definitely feels like you have Grogu standing on your desk. Pictures really don't do this lamp justice!

The only gripe I have with this lamp (and this is really nitpicking) is that the protective film that is affixed to the acrylic plates was a little difficult to remove. I spent more than a few minutes scratching at the edge of the plate, trying to get under the film. You have to remove the film on the acrylic plates before inserting them into the light base to really get that 3D feel so I really wanted to get that film off but struggled for a bit. It would have been cool if there was a little tab or something attached to the film to help you remove the film. Again, not a deal breaker and maybe I'm just being impatient, but I wanted to let you know that you may take a minute or two trying to remove the film.
