Fanduel DFS NBA Lineup Jan. 3, 2017

Hey there.  I made a post yesterday about providing you guys with a FanDuel lineup for the NBA Main slate of games and decided to make it a daily column.  Yesterday's post was fairly short and provided little to no information.  Posts going forward will provided at least a bit of insight as to why I chose the players in my lineup.  I'll also provide you with the results I got with the lineup given.  I can't guarantee that the lineups are winners and I won't claim to be a fantasy sports guru.  I simply do it for fun (and to make a few dollars on Fanduel) and I hope that you guys use this information to help build your own lineups.  So without further delay, let's get into it!

Yesterday's lineup was a winner!  Here are my results:
Fanduel Winning Lineup
I only play a few $1 games on Fanduel, and they are usually of the 50/50 variety, but a win is a win.  I also play a single entry game, in case the lineup scores extremely well and scores me a nice payout.  That wasn't the case yesterday, but a win is a win and hopefully we can keep the ball rolling.  Let's track our winnings while we're at it.  So far, we're up $4.80.  Let's get into this week's lineup:
Fanduel Jan 3, 2017 Lineup
Reggie Jackson: Jackson is averaging over 30 fantasy points in the last 3 games and if Jeff Teague is not playing for the Pacers tonight, Jackson should be in for another 30+ fantasy point game.

Isaiah Thomas:  Thomas has been on fire for Boston.  He is the man there and had one amazing December, averaging approx. 40 fantasy points a game.  You have to like his chances on another 40+ game tonight against the Jazz.

Josh Richardon:  No Whiteside, no Winslow, and Dragic is iffy.  This equates for a great opportunity for Richardson to have an increased role on offense and produce a solid fantasy score.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: KCP has done well these past few games, averaging approx. 30 fantasy points in the last 4 games.  Since the Pacers are looking at a depleted back court, I'm looking at KCP to have a great game tonight.

Andrew Wiggins:  Wiggins has averaged 35 fantasy points during the last 4 games.  He gets another chance to top that against a 76ers teams that gives up big points to forwards!

Wilson Chandler:  I am expecting a high scoring game against the Kings and Nuggets.  Chandler gets heavy minutes and I expect him to cash in on the action to give us a great fantasy score.

Nikola Jokic:  Jokic is the man in Denver.  He is one of the top forwards on the slate tonight and he has averaged approx. 40 fantasy points a game during his last 4 games.  You gotta have him in your lineup tonight against what should be a high scoring game against the Kings.

Julius Randle:  Randle has been pretty solid for the Lakers this season.  Especially, since his return from leave.  As long as he stays out of foul trouble, he'll fill up the stat sheet nicely.

Rudy Gobert:  Gobert is having himself on great season!  Career highs in practically everything.  He is a rebounding machine and a high volume shooting team like Boston is going to give Gobert a lot of opportunities to snatch up more than a few boards!

So there you have it!  My lineup for tonight's slate of games.  This lineup is not final, but is my initial lineup.  The deal with fantasy sports is that you need to keep informed know who is playing and who isn't.  If Jeff Teague is confirmed to play or Rudy Gay is confirmed to be out, then I'll change my lineup accordingly to take advantage of the potential matchups created.  Make sure to follow me on Twitter to receive any late day lineup adjustments!  Good luck, friends!
