Inateck BTSP-10 Bluetooth Mini Hifi Speaker Review

Inateck Bluetooth Speaker
Inateck Bluetooth Mini Hifi Speaker.  I love this box!
Hey there.  I'm a huge fan of music.  I need to listen to music at all times.  Listen to it at work, listen to it while driving, listen to it while blogging, listen to it while working on my yard... I'll even listen to it while playing guitar!  The point I'm trying to make is that music is a big part of my like and it's important that the speaker that is playing my music is a good one.  I've had my share of speakers to try out and review and now I get to put my second Inateck bluetooth speaker to the test.  The Inateck BTSP-10 Bluetooth Mini Hifi Speaker promises to pack more of a punch than the other Bluetooth speakers out there.  Well let's find out.  Before I get into my experience with this Bluetooth speaker, let's talk specs.

Let's a take a minute and talk about the design.  The Inateck BTSP-10 Bluetooth Mini Hifi Speaker has this unique honeycomb look to it.  The speaker itself has a small rectangular box appearance, which may be a bit unappealing to some, but I found that it's extremely sturdy and stable.  Sound comes out from the front and bottom of the speaker and the whole thing is covered with an extremely soft, no slip, rubber coating.  I love that since it doesn't give it that shiny plastic look.  There are a few buttons on the device but they blend in fairly well so they are not an eyesore and the indicator light is subtly placed on the right side and does not make its presence known until the device is on.  Nice, nice touch Inateck.

Connecting to the device was fairly easy.  Turn on the Inateck BTSP-10 Speaker.  Once you enable Bluetooth on your mobile device, press the Bluetooth button on your Bluetooth speaker and hold it to get to pairing mode.  The indicator light will alternate from red to blue.  This is your cue to look for the Bluetooth speaker on your mobile device.  Click on Inateck BTSP and it will automatically connect.  The Bluetooth speaker also has somewhat of a memory.  The Bluetooth speaker will remember the last device that it connected with so if the speaker is on and the same Bluetooth enabled device is on, it will automatically connect without having to go through this process again.  I thought that was pretty cool.  Especially since I do use the same device to connect.  It made connecting real easy and extremely effortless.  If you don't have a Bluetooth enabled device, no worries.  You can connect to the Bluetooth speaker using the audio cable that is provided.

Now the sound.  Compared to other Bluetooth Speakers, The Inateck BTSP-10 Bluetooth Mini Hifi Speaker does extremely well and I strongly believe that it's due to the Bass Booster feature and design of the Bluetooth speaker.  The sound really booms out of this Bluetooth speaker without muddying the sound.  It has a great blend of treble and bass where the bass does not overpower and drown out the higher pitches. I believe that the design of the Bluetooth speaker is the key to that great balance.  Remember that I said that sound comes out from the front AND the bottom of the Bluetooth speaker?  I believe that this layout is what gives you that balance.  Having the lows comes out from below while the highs from the front gives it the balance that music deserves.  Big points to Inateck for the design and sound.  Even at higher volumes, the sound quality does not suffer so taking this Bluetooth speaker outdoors won't be a problem!

The last thing that I tested was the mobile calling feature.  This feature is only available while connected through Bluetooth.  You cannot answer or use the microphone while plugged in with the audio cable.  Just like the music, crisp, clear, sounds projects from the speaker.  The microphone was not bad either, but it is a bit on the sensitive side.  Considering that you are essentially speaking at the Bluetooth speaker, the microphone does a great job picking up the sound of my voice... and just about anything else in the room.  So unless this is going to be a quick call, I wouldn't recommend answering calls unless you absolutely had to take the call.  And let's not forget that your call will be heard by everyone in the room.  I'm pretty sure that not everyone will want to have their calls projected into the room.

So there you have it, the Inateck BTSP-10 Bluetooth Mini Hifi Speaker is the speaker for those of use that need to feel the bass in our music.  Dare I say that it probably has the leg up on some of the other Bluetooth speakers in the market?  The only negative that I come up with is the rectangular box look.  I don't have a problem with it, but if you are looking for something more chic, with a slick design, this is not it.  But I would sacrifice a bit of looks for exceptional sound quality anytime.  You can pick up this Inateck Bluetooth Speaker right now at Amazon for $79.99!

So what do you guys think?  What kind of experiences have you had with Bluetooth speakers.  What do you think this speaker does well?  Does bad?  Lets hear it in the comments, friends!  Later!
