Training for the Gladiator Rock'n Run
I am already doing 4 sets of 25 push ups and dips every day. There is a lot of climbing and upper body strength obstacles so I want to make sure that I maintain, if not increase, my strength since it served me well during the Hero Rush. What I've been wanting to do is run every morning to build up that endurance that I so desperately need. Every day this week, I've gotten up at 5:58 AM (2 minutes before my 6 AM alarm goes off) with the intention of going for a run. So far... I'm 0 for 3. lol I open my eyes but I can't find the drive to get up, get dressed, and take off... AND I NEED TO. That's the one part of my fitness regime that I need to improve. My cardio and endurance sucks and if I don't get it where it needs to be I will not do well at the Gladiator Rock'n Run.
Expect a picture of the sun rising tomorrow on my Twitter and Instagram feed. If you don't see it... I'm 0 for 4 this week. lol So what you do for motivation? Do you guys prefer morning runs or evening runs? Do you guys take any protein or nutritional supplements? I'm open to suggestions!!! Later!
